  • Image Description: A photograph of a black and white ad, reading, "Johnson Country Hams located 4 miles from Florence Mall, Union, KY, 384-1114. Enjoy our specialty at the Boone County Fair, Country Ham Sandwiches." The image is of a pig facing away from the viewer with its head turned back around to smile at the viewer with humanlike lips, heavily lidded eyes with long eyelashes, and raised eyebrows. The pig's ass is delicately rendered with dot shading, and is very round, as well as being the focus of the image. End ID.

  • you have to pretend to be a wizard sometimes, for your health. the obvious method is d&d, but you can also open the dishwasher on cold mornings and raise your arms dramatically as you're enveloped in the steam, or you can find a really good stick to walk around in the woods with, or you can run a bizarrely dedicated rp blog on tumblr. but it's an important component of human well being to occasionally pretend to be a wizard.

  • sometimes your owns against homo/transphobes arent funny enough to warrant consciously reminding me that people hate me for immutable characteristics about myself

  • I love opening up twitter and it's just this over and over again

  • and tbh, the other really good metanarrative thing in TAZ Balance — along with Lup being a surrogate for the relistening savvy audience — is the way that Lucretia is very much a surrogate for Griffin as Dungeon Master.

she's trying to convince her family to help her tell a story. her family are adamant about making goofs and jokes out of it. stock characters from the story's setup take on a life of their own, and refuse to adhere to the narrative roles that a higher power prescribed to them. Lucretia chose to put up with all this fuckery and brought it upon herself on her own. the resulting story will still reach and inspire more people than she ever could've imaged. Lucretia's a Long-Suffering DM if there ever was one.
